The
idea of Leafblade came about in autumn 2003 when Sean Rooney
(Vallecrucis) and Danny Cavanagh (Anathema) began digging out
Seans immense back-catalogue of music. Leafblade play an interesting
hybrid of celtic, medieval acoustic based songs accompanied
by deep poetry used in clever
vocal harmony structures. The debut album 'Beyond Beyond' is
due for release through Strangelight in 2007. Recording is almost
complete for this album @Sewerside Studios, West Yorkshire,
UK.
